FHC Ministries

PRAISE AND WORSHIP
Praise and worship is both contemporary and traditional. We sing new praise and worship songs but we also integrate the great old hymns of the church. At Val Vista, praise and worship is lead by Wyatt and Carolyn Stockton; at 101 in Mesa, it is led by Pastor Mark.

MEN'S MINISTRY
Our men's ministry, headed up by Jeff Guyette, provides the men at both locations the opportunity to come together and fellowship around the Word of God the second Saturday of each month as well as other times of fellowship.

CHILDREN'S and TEENS MINISTRIES
Our children's ministries are headed up by Leah Smith. Ministries include Harvest Kids (5-10 year olds) who meet during the preaching of the Word on Sunday mornings (Val Vista location only) and activites for teens (see youth ministry page) twice each month. Summer camp is a highlight of the year for our children.

SAMARITAN'S MINISTRY (ELDERLY)
Carole Walsh heads up an amazing ministry to the elderly at The Towers, a facility in downtown Mesa. Sunday afternoon church service is provided as well as Bible studies and other activities.

MISSIONS
Faith Harvest has a long history of mission involvement. Members have answered the call to go on short term trips to Pakistan, Columbia, Brazil, Africa, and other locations. Through Gospel for Asia, we support 12 native Asain missionaries on an ongoing basis, and through Teen Missions we support 12 children in Africa. We are now involved in day trips to Puerto Penasco, MX, where individuals who cannot go overseas are able to experience missions to those in extreme poverty. And of course, "missions" begins at home, and Faith Harvest will continue to provide outreach ministries in the local area to those who are lost and in need.

PREACHING SCHOOL AND MINISTRY TRAININGS
Pastors Mark and Maggie provide leadership and ministry training to those who have heard the call to the ministry of the word, whether in pastoral ministry, evangelism, teaching, or missions. Those who participate receive the opportunity to "practice" preaching and grow in their calling.

TEACHING MINISTRY
Pastors Mark and Maggie not only preach but provide ongoing teaching series' and Pastor Mark presents 'seminar style' courses on Bible College level to those who are interested. See ETS (Equipping the Saints)

SOUND MINISTRY
Our Sound Ministry is headed by Jeff and Amy Griffis, providing sound needs for praise and worship at Val Vista and meeting sounds needs for special occasions.
